Congratulation to all participants in the 2008 Heartland Triathlon!  We had a fantastic turnout for the entire weekend of events.  The swim clinics and All-American luncheon hosted by Dave Scott were phenomenal!  The Saturday evening Pasta Bash hosted by the Olive Garden was exceptional.  The keynote presentation by 6-time World Ironman Champion Dave Scott was motivational, entertaining and truly memorable! 
 
On Saturday afternoon, nearly 100 children ages 6-14 participated in the TriKidz event.  The children all received winner medals and were congratulated by Dave Scott after crossing the finish line.   
 
On Sunday, we were treated to some exciting racing!  The weather added to the excitement by both soaking and cooling us all off.  The racing was capped off with a post race food and drink spread that left athletes wondering if they needed to exercise again!?  Dave Scott personally handed out awards at the awards presentation with top finishers leaving with more goodies than they came with!
